DynoStorm F.A.Q.

Q: Will you make Dynolicious for [insert your platform here]
A: At this time, we are porting Dynolicious to the Blackberry Storm. We currently do not have plans to support any other platform. The best way to convince us to port Dynolicious to something else is to visit our forum and show your support.

Please don't send support requests for us to port Dynolicious, use the forum.

Q: Can I use DynoStorm on a motorcycle, boat, bike, etc?
A: DynoStorm works best on a vehicle that is "running" on a level surface, so any change of orientation while testing will invalidate the results. Using DynoStorm on a motorcycle, bike, or go-cart should work. Using DynoStorm on a boat probably won't work.

Q: Are metric units supported in DynoStorm?
A: Yes! Speeds can be reported in km/h, power in kW, and weight can be entered in kg.

Q: Will DynoStorm work on my BlackBerry Bold/Curve/etc?
A: DynoStorm requires a BlackBerry with a built-in accelerometer, currently only the Storm has an accelerometer.

Q: How can I delete test results or vehicles?
A: Tap the edit button, then tap the "X" button next to the item you wish to delete.

Q: What is the best way to mount the Storm when testing?
A: Mounting is a concern for accurate results. Unfortunately, mounting is very vehicle-dependent. On some cars, a cupholder is fine, as long as the Storm is wedged pretty well and does not move around. For in-house testing, we have a cradle which mounts to the windshield with suction cups. This took a bit of custom work to set up, but does the job nicely. Any off-the-shelf cradle which fits the Storm should work, as long as it holds the Storm facing the front of the car, and does not bounce around.

Q: Where is the manual?
A: The full DynoStorm manual can be found in the setup tab, or by viewing the manual online at http://docs.bunsentech.com/dynostorm/manual_2_0_0.
